Colgate Simply White Litigation

New York - November 11, 2003 - PrimeZone -

A Connecticut Court has upheld a claim brought under the state's Unfair Trade Practices Act against a motion to strike the claim made by Colgate-Palmolive Company, the defendant in the case. The claim charges that consumers who purchased Colgate's "Simply White" teeth whitening product were treated unfairly by Colgate's failure to warn on the product's packaging that Simply White does not work on artificial teeth such as caps, crowns, veneers, fillings, or contact a consumer fraud lawyer to learn about colgate litigationdentures. As set forth in the complaint, by comparison, Crest, which produces a similar product, does warn its customers on its packaging that the product is for natural teeth only.

If you are a resident of Connecticut who purchased Colgate's Simply White, but do not have all natural teeth, or if you would like more information regarding this case, please contact Emily Madoff at Wolf Popper LLP (877-370-7703) or click here to contact us.
