Norton Symantec and Cingular Rebate Cards
We are investigating claims that certain vendors, including Norton Symantec and Cingular, are giving out rebate cards instead of rebate checks. Consumers are complaining that they are submitting rebate forms and rather than getting the expected check back in return, they are receiving rebate cards that have spending restrictions, expiration dates, and that incur fees if not used in time. Some consumers also are complaining that they are not able to spend all of the money on their rebate cards because some retail stores will only accept a payment with the rebate cards if there is a certain minimum left on the cards to spend. If you received a rebate card instead of a rebate check and would like to discuss your options, please contact our consumer fraud lawyers.
